Tent Pegging World Cup Qualifiers- Group A: Oman, Yemen, Jordan Qualify for World Cup
Yemen riders displayed their craft and consistency to emerge overall champion at the three-day ITPF 2018 Tent Pegging World Cup Qualifiers-Group A, which concluded in Salalah on Thursday.
Hosts Oman picked up silver on all the three days to finish overall runner-up while Jordan took the third spot in the five-nation qualifiers.
Having finished as the top three teams, Yemen, Oman and Jordan, qualified for the 2018 World Cup in Moscow, Russia.
According to the International Tent Pegging Federation (ITPF), the top-three teams in Group A qualifiers will be joined by seven more teams, to be decided by three more qualifiers, for the Moscow World Cup next year.

Hosted by the Oman Equestrian Federation (OEF) under the auspices of the ITPF, the three-day Group A qualifiers saw Yemen riders garner a total of 532 points after picking gold medals on all three days. Oman riders had to be content with 498.5 points and three silver medals while Jordan had a total of 399.5 for bronze.Yemen's Bilal al Sabri was adjudged the best rider of the qualifiers.
