Work Visa in Oman

Most people prefer to work in Oman as they would have higher earnings which are tax free. In addition to this the accomodation of the employees are the responsibility of their employers or sponsors to be precise.The cities in Oman include the recognised ones like Duqm, Al Hamra, Ruwi, Salalah, Muscat, Saiq and so on.

The Visa to work in Oman is granted on the request of the employer to the foreign employees. In case if the foreign employee is not invited by a government entity, a labour permit from the Ministry of Manpower has to be secured.

Description

It is granted at the request and on the responsibility of an employer to a foreigner who is coming to Oman for employment. Unless the foreigner is invited by a government organization a labour permit from the Ministry of Manpower is needed.

• The visa is valid for staying in the country for 2 years as of the date of stamping on the passport.
• Multi-entry visa.

 Requirements

• The sponsor must be a local one with full legal competence. It's the responsibility of the sponsor to validate their own information.

• The person for whom the work visa is requested shall not be below 21 or above 60 years of age.
•  
• They shall be of the same gender as mentioned in the labour permit, issued by the Ministry of Manpower.
•  
• The occupation mentioned in the visa application shall be the same as in the labour permit.
