4. Senior Instructor - First Aid & HSE
- Co-ordinate first aid & HSE training courses for all department staff based on the inputs from the operational department and agreed training plan.
- To ensure that training is given to all departments i.a.w the approved syllabus
- Prepare training manuals, presentations for all first aid & HSE training courses in line with the training schedule to ensure that required materials and manuals are in place for training.
- Prepare the necessary documents required for the courses, ie attendance sheets, exam reports, etc
- Comply with all the company health & safety policies & procedures
- Deliver all training courses as per the training schedules for all company staff and external customers.
- Provide assistance & advice to the management on HSE issues
5. Tax Specialist
Talent Development are recruiting a Tax Specialist for a client in Muscat. This role is responsible for implementing new VAT controls, managing the company's tax matters through portals including PRI and FRI and assisting with all tax reporting to the monthly and annual accounts.
6. Legal Counsel
An international operating company have a new requirement for a Legal Counsel. The incumbent will be responsible for effective delivery of legal counsel across all business departments.
This is an expatriate residential position based in Muscat.
Responsibilities will include:
- Advise key members regarding legal risks and liabilities
- Negotiate, draft and advise commercial contracts
- Prep and review Tender Documents
- Update tender packages
- Provide oversight of functional risk
- Perform complex legal analysis
7. Head of Finance
An international operating company have a new requirement for a Head of Finance. The incumbent will be responsible for providing leadership to the finance function and driving excellence within financial reporting, planning and economic evaluation.
This is an expatriate residential position based in Muscat.
Responsibilities will include:
- To develop and drive forward the finance team by implementing key finance and management reporting.
- To lead the finance team on delivering relevant financial information to support key decision makers in the company.
- To manage Monthly Management Accounts, Budgetary control, Planning Management.
- Development of ERP systems
- Stakeholder management including reporting to the board
- Introducing cost saving strategies
- Any other Ad hoc activities
