Recovery of OMR33,000 by Consumer watchdog in Dhofar
The Public Authority for Consumer Protection has recovered OMR 33,000 in Dhofar during the third quarter of 2017. With 237 complaints received from various sectors during the period, the Department of Consumer Protection has collected more than OMR 33,000 for consumers in Dhofar.
In order to preserve the rights of consumers the PACP had done the efforts and and to resolve complaints through friendly settlement or by referring them to the judicial authorities
The aluminum and blacksmith, vehicle repair workshops,travel and tourism services, telecommunications sector, construction and building materials sectors were the ones from which the amounts were collected
