Municipality raids house used to store fish, lobsters in Muscat
Municipal authorities have raided a house in Azaiba that was used to illegally store and sell fish and other shellfish, including lobsters, in the Sultanate's capital.
"The Department of Inspection and Food Control at Muscat Municipality in Bausher, in cooperation with the Royal Oman Police and the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries, raided a house used to store and sell fish and other marine animals in unhealthy conditions in Azaiba," Muscat Municipality said.
The items were confiscated, and legal action will be taken against the perpetrators.
