Several arrested in Oman for violating ban on gatherings

Muscat: A group of people have been arrested by the Royal Oman Police (ROP), on charges of gathering in violation of the decisions of the Supreme Committee to deal with Covid-19.

A statement issued online by ROP said: "Al Dakhiliyah Governorate Police Command, with the support of the Nizwa Police Unit, has stopped a group of people for gathering in violation of the decisions of the Supreme Committee to deal with COVID-19. Legal procedures are being completed against them."
