Rolls Royce’s first SUV Cullinan unveiled in Muscat
Muscat: Residents and citizens of the Sultanate planning to get a new SUV may have to hold until next year as Rolls-Royce will be launching its first SUV in the market.
The new Rolls-Royce Cullinan, the first-ever SUV in the history of Rolls-Royce motor cars was officially unveiled at Kempinsiki Hotel in Muscat on Sunday.
“Cullinan is very special to Rolls-Royce as we have been working extremely hard on this SUV and also because this is a new edition to the family of Rolls-Royce,” said Brett Soso, Regional Director, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Middle East and Africa.
“We have been working on it since 2013 and have taken the car to various places for the feedback from the customers through testing it locally, and so far we have received a positive feedback.
“Cullinan will be available in the market in the beginning of the next year. However, will be available for the test drives at the end of the year,” added Soso.
Marking Rolls-Royce debut in the market, the Cullinan has been created to meet the demands of customers in the region and around the globe who desire a combination of high-end refinement, superior comfort and powerful off-road capabilities.
“The Cullinan is a true ‘Effortless Everywhere’ SUV. Equally at home off-road or in the city, it offers uncompromised luxury to allow the driver and passengers to fully embrace and enjoy the world around them, where ever they dare to go,” said Soso.
The SUV represents the culmination of Rolls-Royce’s long and celebrated history. It is the natural evolution of the carmaker’s luxury concept, from delivering the ultimate in urban transport to fully embracing every environment and conquering every terrain.

“Created to take the world in its stride, the ‘Effortless Everywhere’ ethos behind the creation of this luxury SUV is powered by a 6.75 V12, twin turbo engine delivering 567 horsepower, meaning the Cullinan provides an effortless driving experience,” added Soso.
