Rain likely in parts of Oman

Parts of the coastal areas of Dhofar Governorate witnessed scattered rainfall on Thursday, while there are chance of rains in other parts of Sultanate.

General Directorate of Meteorology said: "Chances of cumulus clouds activity on the Hajar Mountains and scattered rain, associated with thunderstorm sometimes and accompanied by active winds.

Adding that:" Cumulus clouds and opportunities for scattered rain, sometimes thunderstorms, are active in parts of the Dhofar governorates (mountainous and desert regions) and Al Wusta governorate."
