Planning your Eid holiday? These discount flight tickets might help

The clock is ticking to book a bargain on a half price flight this Eid and beyond, as many airlines have dropped prices by as much as 50 per cent - but only until Wednesday at midnight.

Oman Air and Qatar Airways are offering huge discounts on last minute deals, and many other carriers are also offering deals to tempt staycationers in the Sultanate to opt for a last minute deal.

Doha based Qatar Airways is offering an exclusive online-only discount up to 40% on economy and premium class tickets to some of its most popular destinations.

“It is a limited time offer where people have to book online by 23:59 this Wednesday (August 30) and they can travel by 31 March 2018,” the airline said.

National carrier Oman Air is offering 50 per cent discounts on a three day sale starting from Monday. “The ticket sale will be from August 28 to August 30 and it is valid for outbound travel period from September 15 to May 31, 2018,” the airline said, adding that all travel to be completed before 31st May 2018.

The offer is, however, not applicable to domestic, code share, interline and rail service sectors and is valid on return journey only. “Here the tickets are non-refundable and only limited seats are

available on promotional fares,” Emdad Bachchu, managing director, Akash Jatra travel agency said.
