More than 60 percent of Pakistani nationals who have registered with the Embassy of Pakistan will be repatriated by the end of this month, revealed KK Ahsan Wagan, Ambassador of Pakistan, in an exclusive interview with the Times of Oman.

Wagan said since the launch of the data collection by the Embassy of Pakistan for Pakistani nationals wishing to return to their country, they have received 4,300 registrations. Out of those, 2,692 Pakistani nationals will be repatriated by the end of this month, May 31.

"In the month of April, we at the Embassy of Pakistan in Oman announced that Pakistani nationals wishing to return can get in touch with us. In this regard, we started collecting data of people who want to travel to Pakistan considering the availability of any special flights. So far, we have received 4,300 applications of those who wish to go back.
