Over 300 kg of illegally caught fish seized in Oman

Muscat: Authorities have busted an illegal fishing operation and seized over 300 kilograms of the Al Sharkha fish in the Al Wusta governorate.

Fish control teams in the governorate seized 350 kg of fish from Masirah since they were caught during the off season. The Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Water Resources said in a statement, "Legal procedures against the violators are being completed."
