Oman’s much awaited 2018 Muscat Festival opened on Thursday evening at two main venues Al Amerat Park and Al Naseem Public Park.
Mwasalat has announced special bus services for Muscat Festival 2018 visitors.
The Ruwi to Al Amerat Park will operate in every 20 minutes and Mabela Bus station to Al Naseem Park will operate in every 30 minutes.
Oman residents to be charged new fee in electricity bills. The Muscat Municipality has decided to levy charges on the electricity bill. As per the decision, which has been published in the Official Gazette, if the bill amount is less than RO 25, the charges will be 0.5 per cent of invoice value and one per cent if the bill amount is between RO 25 and RO 50. If the bill exceeds RO 50, the levy will be two per cent of the value. It said the fee for municipal services will be applied from February 1 on housing, except social security housing.
Saudi Arabia interior minister arrives in Oman. Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Nayef Al Saud, Minister of Interior in Saudi Arabia and his accompanying delegation arrived on a two-day visit to the Sultanate during which he will meet with senior officials in the Sultanate.
Oman Oil launched its new M-98 grade fuel on Wednesday. The M-98 grade fuel is priced at 266bz per liter, authorities announced.
