Oman releases new postage stamp titled ’Horse and Camel Ardhah’
Muscat: Oman post has launched a new postage stamp featuring horses and camels on the occasion of their inclusion in the list of the tangible cultural heritage of humanity in UNESCO.
A statement issued online by Oman post said: "Today, under the patronage of the Royal Court Affairs, we are launching a new postage stamp on the Ardhah of horses and camels on the occasion of their inclusion in the list of the tangible cultural heritage of humanity in UNESCO, which supports 3D augmented reality technology."
"This group of stamps is distinguished by the presence of aesthetic standards that reflect the originality of this hobby, which in turn expresses its originality among Omanis, which contribute to showing the Sultanate’s interest in appreciating these ancient traditions and talents. This stamp is part of a series of commemorative stamps of 100, 200, 400 and 500 Bz, with dimensions of 3 cm * 4 cm, and offset printing."
