New Indian School building inaugurated in Oman
The new school premises of Indian School Rustaq was inaugurated on Wednesday, March 28, 2018 by Wilson V. George, chairman of Board of Directors of Indian Schools in the Sultanate of Oman in the presence of Khalid Al Shuhumi, deputy director of Private Schools Department , Al Rustaq, Peri Jagannadha Mani, director of Board of Indian Schools in Oman, Abdulla Paneguri, president of School Management Committee, Dr. Alex C. Joseph, head of academics of BoD, Biju Varghese, Principal of Indian School Rustaq, SMC office bearers Dr. Ashok Manavazhi, Mohammed Riyaz Khan, Refeeq Rehman, dignitaries from the local government departments, former SMC presidents, parents, staff and students.
It was a joyous occasion, fulfilling the dream of Indian community at Rustaq to have a better infrastructure for the school that came true on this day, after the efforts of the BoD and SMC for more than a year.
The chief guest of the function, Wilson V. George, in his address pointed out the good quality level of academics in Indian Schools that produces successful professionals in all fields of life and work. He emphasised that the students of Indian Schools in interiors of Sultanate of Oman deserves better infrastructural facility and that the inauguration of new school premises is a milestone in this effort. He mentioned the initiatives being taken by the Board of Directors of Indian Schools in the Sultanate of Oman to bring about quality improvement in infrastructure and human resources of Indian Schools.
