Nepalese Envoy calls on Oman’s Agriculture Minister
The Nepalese Ambassador to Oman, Her Excellency Sarmila Parajuli Dhakal, met with Oman’s Agriculture and Fisheries Minister Dr Hamed Said al-Oufi at the latter’s office on Monday, 8 July.
During the meeting, the Ambassador and the Omani Minister discussed ways to enhance bilateral co-operation between the Sultanate and Nepal.
Dhakal apprised the Dr al-Oufi of the Nepalese government’s plans to prioritise farming in the country. She also informed the minister how the organic agricultural sector is gaining momentum in Nepal.
The two also discussed possible investments by the Sultanate in the Nepalese agricultural sector.
Dr al-Oufi also assured the Ambassador all possible co-operation from the Sultanate in the foreseeable future.
