Muscat Municipality Affirms Readiness of A’Seeb, Al Amirat Slaughterhouses during Ramadan
Muscat Municipality, represented by the Directorate General of Health Affairs, confirmed the readiness of the two central slaughterhouses in A’Seeb and Al Amirat to meet the needs of citizens for fresh meat during the holy month of Ramadan.
Qais bin Suleiman Al-Koshari, Director General of Health Affairs, Muscat Municipality, told Oman News Agency (ONA) that the working hours for A’Seeb and Al-Amirat slaughterhouses during Ramadan will be in two periods, the first starts from 6 am until 9 am, which is a period devoted to the livestock (sheep and goats) for companies and meat sales companies for consumers in the markets of the Governorate of Muscat. The second period starts from 9 am until 1 pm. It will be devoted to the livestock of citizens and expatriates in the wilayats of the Governorate of Muscat throughout the week.
He explained that the slaughterhouses have different types of livestock and cows that meet the needs of consumers.
