Islamic New Year holiday announced in Oman
The government has announced that if the first day of Muharram falls on Friday the 22nd of September then the holiday will be on Sunday, the 3rd of Muharram, which corresponds to 24th of September.
The first day of the Islamic New Year shall be an official holiday for ministry, public authority and other government sector employees.
