Heavy rains lash several parts of Oman

Parts of Oman received heavy rainfall on Friday and the early hours of Saturday, the Public Authority for Civil Aviation (PACA) announced.

PACA said that Saiq and Izki in Al Dakhliyah province received the highest amount of rainfall between 10 am on Friday to 10 am on Saturday. While Saiq received 21.6 mm of rainfall, Izki was battered by 16 mm of rain.

Samail was another place that saw heavy rainfall, with 1.6 mm of rain being recorded. Meanwhile, the port city of Sohar received 1 mm of rain while 0.8 mm of rainfall was recorded in Boushar and Quriyat
