Five people trapped in burning residential building in Barka rescued
Firefighters rescued five people who were trapped in a burning residential building, the Public Authority For Civil Defence and Ambulance announced.
PACDA received a report of a fire in a residential building in Barka.
"Following the report of a fire in a building in Barka, we confirm that the fire has been extinguished and five people were rescued and assisted as a result of inhaling smoke. The residents are in a stable condition," PACDA said.
Earlier this month, a warehouse fire was extinguished in Shinas with no injuries.
Last month six other fire incidents occurred around the Sultanate, in Sohar, Bida, Al Khoud, Seeb, and Bahla, leaving four injured.
