Cyclone Vayu around 1,100 kms from Oman coast
The Public Authority for Civil Aviation (PACA) announced on Thursday that the centre of the tropical cyclone classified as Vayu, is now 1,100 kms from the coast of Oman.
According to PACA, the tropical system located in the Arabian Sea is moving in the northwest direction.
Meanwhile Cyclone Vayu will not make landfall on the Gujarat coast of India on Thursday as expected and will pass by the Saurashtra region ofg Gujarat later in the day, the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) in an update said.
