COAST GUARD UNIT RESCUES SIX PERSONS FROM TWO BOATS

The Coast Guard Unit in Musandam towed an Asian boat that broke down near the island of Makhbooq due to an engine failure.

It had two persons on board and both were found in healthy conditions. The boat was towed to Khasab Port.

The Coast Guard Unit also rescued four Omani fishermen from a boat that broke down off the coast of Khasab. They too were found in healthy conditions. The boat was also towed to Khasab Port.
