7,000 register with Dar Al Atta’a for help
Around 7,000 applicants have registered with Dar Al Atta’a Association for help in the wake of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic in Oman.
The Association saw a surge in needy people this year compared to the same period last year due to the ongoing pandemic.
Talking exclusively to the Times of Oman, Dr. Shamsa Al Harthi, General Director at Dar Al Atta’a said that they have received 7,000 applications in just a month and a half.
“We started to receive these applications from both citizens and residents living across the Sultanate since the implementation of safety measures started to begin in the country.
