Traffic warning: This road in Muscat will be closed for the weekend
Muscat: The third lane of Sultan Qaboos Street for one section of the road in Ruwi will be closed this weekend, Muscat Municipality announced online.
A statement was put out saying, "Muscat Municipality, in collaboration with the Royal Oman Police, will close the third lane of Sultan Qaboos Street towards Ruwi after the As'Sahwa Tower from Thursday evening, May 3, 2018 till Sunday morning, May 6, 2018."
The authority added that the closure was for regular maintenance, and requested drivers to "be careful and abide by the traffic rules".
