Oman’s share index rises marginally

Muscat: Oman's benchmark MSM 30 Index closed at 3,627.00 registering an increase of 5.3 points or 0.147 per cent on Thursday compared to Wednesday's trading session.

The value of total traded securities reached OMR0.662 million a decline of 38.9 per cent compared to

last trading session where the value traded was OMR0.348 million.

The market capitalisation increased by 0.026 per cent reaching around OMR19.82 billion.

It is worth mentioning that the value of shares bought by non-Omanis investors reached OMR139,000while the value of shares sold by non-Omanis investors reached OMR180,000.

The net foreign investment on the market declined to OMR41,000.
