Omani-designed computer project launched in Oman

Muscat: The Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology has launched an Omani-designed computer project, which was implemented by Onsor Technology Company.

A statement issued online said: "The Ministry launched an Omani-designed computer project, which was implemented by Onsor Technology Company and with the support of the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology."

"The inauguration ceremony was sponsored by His Excellency Eng. Said bin Hamoud bin Said Al Ma'awali, in the presence of a number of Excellencies, agents, chief executives, project implementers and supporters of private sector companies."

"On the sidelines of the launch, oman ICT Group signed an agreement with Onsor company to invest in Onsor Technology Company to enhance the current production line of computers, by designing and manufacturing modern technologies that are compatible with the Internet of Things and Robotics technologies,"the statement added.
