Man books an Ola cab ride from Bengaluru to North Korea, charged with Rs.1,49,088
Going for an international trip is always everyone's dream, right? However, it can prove to be a bit of a hassle, what with arranging visas and tickets and so on and so forth. Well that didn't seem to be a problem with a man in Bengaluru who was able to book a cab ride on Ola all the way to North Korea, apparently thanks to a technical glitch. The ride of his life: Drunk man blacks out in Uber, wakes up 500 kilometers away. With a $1,600 bill
Rohit Menda, who is a web and mobile developer, booked a cab ride from Bengaluru to North Korea. To his surprise, his ride was scheduled and the cab-hailing app even shared details of the driver, as well as the estimated duration of his trip (six days, apparently - from March 18 to March 23). Not just that, the company even billed him a humongous amount of Rs. 1,49,088.
How is this possible @Olacabs a trip to North Korea?

Menda posted the screenshots of the bill on Twitter on March 17, tagging the official twitter handle of Ola on the tweet. In fact, replying to his tweet, another man, Arunchandra C., also posted a similar screenshot of an Ola bill which had a trip scheduled from Bengaluru to North Korea.
Ola initially replied to Menda's tweet stating that it was a technical glitch, asking him to restart the the phone and try again. They later tweeted saying that the complaint had been forwarded to the relevant team to further look into the issue.
However, even after Ola's tweets on Menda's post, several Twitter users posted screenshots of bills of such absurd trips, from Vadodara to Las Vegas, and Telangana to Vancouver, all scheduled through the Ola app.
