A video has gone viral showing a customer shouting at McDonald’s employees while buying an ice cream. The minute and a half long video has got more than 1.1 million views and 15,000 shares. The video captured the incident which took place at a McDonald’s outlet in the Hougang Mall, Singapore.
The clip shows a customer standing at the cash register and yelling at two McDonald’s employees over being asked to pay before he has finished ordering. "What service is this, you tell me. Is the McDonald's service like that?" the man is heard speaking in the video. "Don't tell me sorry. I very angry," the man then shouts. "What! I haven't order finish, money money money, what is this?"

In a bid to placate the situation, the McDonald’s staff repeatedly apologises to the man and says it was all a “miscommunication”.
"Don't tell me sorry. I very angry," the man yelled. "What! I haven't order finish, money money money, what is this? Miscommunication? And keep on asking, money where? Money where?," he added.

"What you talk to her? I want to see what action you all do to her. Or you got any higher authority to talk to me? You're what? Manager? Restaurant Manager? I want to talk to the restaurant manager," he demanded. The video was recorded by 39-year-old Caren Choo, who was sitting in the restaurant when the incident took place.

"The woman he was shouting at was an old lady. I felt, even if she did something wrong, he should just let it go after he scolded her," Choo told The Straits Times.

McDonald’s released a statement to The Straits Times, saying it was “aware of this incident that took place in our restaurant on Thursday.”
"While our employees strive to do their best every day to serve our customers with care, we also hope that any unintended misunderstandings can be resolved amicably...We believe that under any circumstance, our employees - just like any human being - should be treated with respect, and do not deserve to be shouted at in the manner as portrayed in the video," said the spokesman.
