Trying to evade paying a hotel bill, a Chinese man in Guizhou escaped from the high-rise window and climbed onto thin telephone wires in a bid to reach another building across the road.

It was a tall order. And the video shows the man precariously hanging as he struggles to balance himself on the wires. He is seen swaying around a height of 19th floor.

The video went viral and captured widespread attention.

The man didn't succeed in his attempt, but was fortunate enough to be alive as he could have come in contact with a bunch of high-voltage power lines, which were close to where he was swinging.

After being rescued by firefighters, he was taken away by the police. There was no information on who foot the bill!
