Indian woman jumps to death from Sharjah building

Initial investigations have confirmed that the woman decided to end her life and there was no criminal act behind her death

Sharjah Police is investigating the death of a 32-year-old Indian woman who fell from a building in Al Majaz area in Sharjah.

Initial investigation by the police confirmed that the woman decided to end her life and there was no criminal act behind her death. 

Police said  they dispatched a team of officers, comprising forensic experts, CID and patrol officers as well as the national ambulance, immediately after receiving a call at the emergency room. 

The team reached the site and found the woman already dead due to internal bleeding and severe damage to the skull.  

Police shifted the body of the deceased to the forensic laboratory for autopsy and held several people in custody to find the actual reason behind her die.
