You may think of disrupting your sleep to hit the gym in wee hours of the morning as an accomplishment, but uninterrupted sleep is key for your emotional health, your brain function, cutting the risk of chronic disease, your mental well-being, and boosting your immune system.

Weight loss plans that are cardio-focused are not ideal

Although upping your cardio is beneficial to weight loss it shouldn’t come at the expense of the time you spent on strength training. Strength training by itself has a profound impact on your body, such as strengthening your musculoskeletal system, preventing osteoporosis, upping your metabolic rate, lowering blood pressure and keeping diabetes and heart conditions in check. 

Washing your hair with shampoo every day is withers your hair 

Shampooing your hair everyday can strip it of its natural oils. Dr. Lisa Donofrio, cosmetic surgeon and associate clinical professor of Dermatology at Yale University School of Medicine, told HealthDay News that “by leaving the natural oils on the hair, the hair doesn't need any styling products. If you don't apply any styling products, then there is no need to wash your hair. No products, no need to wash them out.”
