What Is The Best Time For Coffee And Why?
The body produces cortisol, a stress hormone, in the morning, allowing you this way to naturally wake up. But it is also the time when we usually drink the first cup of coffee. In this way confuses the organism.
We all know that’s not a good idea to have a coffee or a drink with caffeine after 17 or 18 hours, if we want no trouble falling asleep at night. The latest survey by the University of Colorado confirmed what we suspected, namely that late drinking coffee during the day can completely disrupt the circadian rhythm (rhythm for 24 hours).
The study tested five people, and the respondents were three hours before going to sleep or given a pill that contains two times more caffeine than a cup of espresso or a placebo. The researchers then tracked levels of melatonin, a hormone that regulates sleep and found that the pill is full of caffeine leads to later (about 40 minutes) secretion of melatonin, which delays the signal for sleep.
A similar experiment was performed with subjects that are immediately before going to bed were exposed to bright light, which has delayed the release of melatonin for 85 minutes. In other words, the effect of coffee consumption in the late afternoon and early evening is 50% lower than watching TV programs, or tap on a computer, tablet or smartphone, but it still bothers body.
