Here’S How Many Days You Can Keep Boiled Eggs Before They Become Dangerous To Health

Cooked eggs actually have a very short shelf life, significantly shorter than fresh eggs. This is because while cooking eggs, it is removed the outer layer that covers the shell – which makes it vulnerable to air, bacteria and other things that can contaminate the egg and endanger our health.

Hard-boiled egg can stay fresh up to 7 days, but when is peeled – it will stay fresh only for 5 days.

 

To be taken care of boiled eggs are safe to eat, cool them immediately after cooking, preferably in a container with ice and immediately put them in the fridge.

A clear sign that the eggs you eat are rotten is the smell. If you notice that boiled eggs have an unpleasant odor reminiscent of sulfur, immediately throw them away.

If the egg is in a shell, you will need to break it and notice if it smells bad.
