It’s that time of year again: the trains are packed; kids are back to school; and the morning rush-hour feels that bit longer and arduous.

Summer is over (what summer? I hear you ask) but yes, our fine British summer has come to an end. Some of us have even had to start to put the heating on again.

Lanzarote

Santorini

It was devastated by a volcanic eruption in the 16th century, but this forever shaped its beautiful landscape.
