These are the Safest Seats to Take on a Plane, Claims Research

Traveling via plane is considered as one of the fastest yet dangerous ways of public transportation in different countries. As per the US Certified scheduled airlines, 2016 was the sixth consecutive year where zero people died from plane crashes.

Experts share that odds of disappearing or perishing in an airplane crash are similar to one in a million, but still, there are a lot of travelers who wonder what precautions they may take to be on the safe side in a situation of unfortunate turns of events.

Well, various research studies have found the answer, and it comes out that often time the kind of casualty depends on the type of crash the plane has.

Alison Duquette, a spokeswoman for the Federal Aviation Administration says:

Each incident or crash is unique." Most of the time, the safety depends on the impact that accident makes on a plane as a whole. As a result, every single time the safest seats on the aircraft are going to vary.

The National Transportation Safety Board doesn't keep the data related to safest seats on a plane. But, there are two major media outlets, who do track this data and have done their homework.

At first, Popular Mechanics took things on their shoulders.

In 2007, Popular Mechanics, along with the help of NTSB's data, analyzed every commercial plane crash in the USA since 1971 and listed out the data on survivors and fatalities of these accidents.
