Newlyweds Took Stunning Post-Nuptial Photos with Mayon Volcano Spewing Ash behind Them
Nothing can get any more perfect than this!
A few days ago, Mayon belched out two successive 10-kilometer-high ash columns at noon. Volcanologists raised the alert at the volcano to Level 4, signifying a hazardous eruption is imminent. 27,000 locals were evacuated to a safer place as the nation worries for everyone’s safety. Though the imminent danger can be terrifying for some, Mayon’s eruption was undeniably stunning.
Many netizens took pictures and videos which were shared on social media. Other users were mesmerized by how a dangerous eruption could look so beautiful from far away. One couple took the perfect opportunity to capture that beauty in their post-nuptial photos—and the results are just epic!
Mr. and Mrs. Arlo Gerald and Maria Hussa Maica De La Cruz got married in Albay, Bicol, at the Nuestra Señora de la Porteria Parish Church, commonly known as Daraga Church. They tied the knot on January 25, just two days after Mayon sent ashes and lava spewing. They found the stunning Mayon volcano a perfect “background” for their post-nuptial photos—and results are simply perfect!
Franklyn Deo Moraleda Nebreja of Nebreja Bros. Media uploaded on his Facebook account with the caption:
“Kahit na pumuputok ang bulkan, tuloy pa rin tayo. Laban lang! Walang makakapigil sa atin.”
[Despite the volcano erupting, we carry on. Keep on! No one can stop us.]
The photo immediately went viral, gathering at least 39,000 likes, 5,000 comments and a whopping 25,000 shares on Facebook.
