Monkey Mom Risks Her Own Life to Save Her Offspring from Being Run over and Eaten by a Dog

Every life is precious. Humans and animals alike deserve to live and fight for their lives.

We all know how precious motherly love is. We see mothers defending their children and even sacrificing their own lives just to make their children live the way they want to. But what many of us don’t know is that animals exercise the same ‘love’ towards their offspring. While many people believe animals are not capable of possessing human emotion, this primate mother proves otherwise.

Primate mothers carry their children until they are four years old, after which they live on their own. When young, baby monkeys always stay close to their parents for protection from predators and comfort. This primate mom just shows how animals can be as caring as human moms.

A little monkey was struck by a moped while scampering across the road in India’s capital, where the animals are a common sight scavenging for food. Seeing how her little baby was hurt, the mom immediately risked her life to get her dazed and injured offspring. But that wasn’t the end—her baby was still in danger.
