6.Al Baleed archaeological: Al Baleed archaeological site is an ancient city. There is also one museum at the site.

7. Ayn Sahalnoot (Sahalnoot Spring) or Wadi Sahalnoot (Sahalnoot Valley): This is one of the most popular places to visit in Salalah. The valley has impressive and beautiful natural scenery. Drive to the mountains above is a drive to remember as roads have steep bends, ups and downs and trees on both sides.

8.Ayn Athum: Ayn Athum is a one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Salalah, located on the eastern side of the city. This is one of the most visited waterfall in khareef season. The waterfall is easily accessible. 

How to Reach Salalah

> Oman Air flies from Muscat to Salalah at least three times a day. The flight takes roughly 90 minutes. The same carrier flies from Dubai to Salalah, with the flight taking some 2 hours scheduled on Wednesdays and Fridays.There are direct flights to Indian cities of Kozhikode & Kochi, and Thiruvananthapuramvia Kochi. Air Arabia flies twice a week to Sharjah on Thursdays and Saturdays. Flydubai operates three flights every week from Dubai on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. Qatar Airways also has a direct flight from Doha to Salalah at least 2 times per day.

Beware, the taxi from the airport is 10 or 20 times the normal taxi rate. The taxi fare for airport to dharaiz is 5 rials and to awqad it's 7 rials
